3 of the Best Natural Makeup Removers

Some of the makeup removers I use burn my eyes, irritate my skin and the worst bit, don't even remove my makeup after all that! :S You'll be surprised that one of the most effective ways to remove your makeup is by using Oil. Try using organic, un-processed oil.  In most cases, oil can be used by people with all skin types (but there are some exceptions, it's best to try and test). If you're worried to try it on your skin, start by using it on your eyes first, to remove eye makeup and then move on to you're skin to remove the rest of your makeup.

Here are my top 3!

1. Almond Oil
My all time favourite, rich in Vitamin E. I use either the Biotique Almond Oil/ Roghan Badam Oil

2. Olive Oil
Works as a charm, but slightly expensive. I use any brand from the super market!

3. Coconut Oil
Amazing, especially for dry skin. My friend gets me a can of natural coconut oil which is grown in his house! You can also get it at natural food stores, like Eco Nut. Hair oil like Parachute, Vatika etc can be used, but because they are processed oils, I prefer not to use them on my face..

These are AWESOME to remove eye makeup, but I also use them on my face to remove the rest of my makeup.

How to use it:

Squeeze some on your palms, apply in on a dry face (it won't work if you wet your face with water) and massage it with your fingertips to dissolve all the makeup... If you're wearing mascara, this will work brilliantly to remove every bit of it! When you massage your face with your hands using oil, it really helps to loosen the makeup.. By the end of it, you'll look like the Joker from Batman.. Lol!

Muahaha!

Now take a ball of cotton and gently remove the oil+makeup.. Once you're done, wash your face with water until all the and follow up with your regular face wash to make sure all the residue has been washed away.. Now say hello to the most beautiful woman in the world as you smile in the mirror makeup-less! :D

Hope you enjoyed this post!

Akriti

  1. i usually use almond oil.. its excellent even some times baby oil.. but a small tip to share .. after applying oil once you feel the make up is out just wipe off all excess oil using face tissue .. rather than directly washing with water then use any of your face wash.. to get perfect clear natural skin .. thanks
