The world of makeup always fascinated me but there was a time when my makeup indulgence was restricted to weekend parties or girls night outs until I discovered that there is a whole new unexplored side to makeup, a one that can make you look and feel beautiful.
After graduating from the University of Manchester, destiny had something else in store for me. And boy, am I glad it did! An opportunity came knocking on my door from the makeup giant M.A.C cosmetics and it was during my stint there that I started to perceive makeup in a different light. Makeup is about the endless possibility of enhancing your beautiful God given features to radiate positivity and happiness both inside and around you. While I was trotting around with a Brush Belt around my waist, I decided to take a massive leap and spread my knowledge to everyone around me.
That's when I started Mesmereyes Makeup- the love child of my passion for makeup and my business degree, that aims at making the new age empowered woman learn, understand and love the art of makeup. A small venture that aimed at education people on makeup tricks and techniques soon started to grow steadily owing to the warm response that ir received, resulting in workshops being held in Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Delhi and Sri Lanka.
My wish to reach our to the people around the world urged me to start my YouTube channel- akritisachdev where I shoot makeup tutorials, share easy tips and pass on my beauty knowledge with all you beautiful women!
Based in Chennai, I'm a professional Bridal Makeup Artist and specialize in Airbrush Makeup, which gives the most flawless finish! I started my career with M.A.C and then trained with celebrity Makeup Artists- Vidya Tikari in Delhi and Cory Walia in Mumbai. I love traveling around the world for destination weddings and making Brides look like a million bucks on their big day!
